Chase Tasca
Founder of NameUnknown Inc. A SaaS platform for Technicians in the US.
Chase Tasca is an ex technician who used to work with many homeowners on behalf of various companies in the past. Due to his extensive experience in the domain, he saw the opportunity to create a digital product with high potential. The main goal Chase wanted to achieve was creating the opportunity for technicians to earn some extra money while solving the pain of homeowners that often demand after-hours services and can’t get it on time.
Chase reached out to
After a detailed review of the brief requirements, we realized that the only right approach would be going through the Design and Discovery phase, so that we crystalize the goals, audience, business processes, functional, non functional as well as technical requirements.
We have taken 4 weeks of time for a business analysis and held daily meetings with Chase in order to achieve that and after completing the DnD we had a clear understanding of what exactly has to be developed, in what steps and with which technology stack. Eventually, after completing the discovery phase we had all the project documentation in place and were able to estimate the efforts precisely.
After looking at the proposed approach and associated costs, Chase made a decision to start with a PoC version of the product. It took us a month to implement it and allowed Chase to have the minimal product in hand to help with further fundraising for full-scale development.
As of today, Chase successfully raised the funds for further development of his product and is on his way to launching the product to the market this year. We are confident that the project is doomed to success and looking forward to reading about it in the coming months.
The D&D phase was an excellent experience.

The final deliverable was an iOS app written in Swift.
There were 4 stages of the project.
Design and Discovery - figuring out the features
and user flow of the project
UI Design - finalizing the UI design
MVP Development - developing the MVP version of the app
Post MVP Development - adding more features to the app
Before starting the Design and Discovery process with
Bishara Tannous
Founder of Stealth Mode Startup
Bishara reached out to us back in 2020 with a product idea in mind which was not structured enough, yet. He wanted to learn about the approach we usually take to successful software development. He wasn’t in a rush and was doing his research very thoroughly.
We had several meetings where we learned about his objectives and high level vision of the product and showcased the DnD technology. The attention to detail and deliverables we were discussing impressed Bishara however he wanted to do his homework first and create a detailed description of the solution he wanted to build.
After a few months, when Bishara had his thoughts lined up on a paper we met again and discussed what would be the right approach given that the product he wanted to build was not a regular MVP but rather a core product aiming to disrupt the industry.
It took us a while to review all the details and define the next steps for the project. Eventually, we agreed that the regular DnD alone would not be a right fit here and an additional technical sprint is required to avoid very expensive mistakes in the future.
In a few weeks we went through all the steps and produced the set of project documentation that allowed us to come up with a prioritized plan of actions. Now Bishara could start with the UX/UI design and we were able to estimate the initial efforts for project implementation.
Looking back to the initial stages, we see that even though we spent quite a lot of time and energy figuring out all the unknowns, it allowed us to reduce the risks of project failure dramatically and was a time-and cost-efficient solution for Bishara. The project is now being developed according to the plan we created and given that the idea is backed by the vast experience and strong relevant expertise of the client, the project promises to become a huge success story.
