Kudos®, a Calgary-based employee recognition, people analytics, and organizational communications firm has raised $10 million from the Canadian Business Growth Fund for a minority equity investment at an undisclosed valuation.

The company says the proceeds will be used to further position Kudos® for global expansion, which includes doubling its headcount to 120 employees in the Calgary area and across Canada by the end of 2022.

Just last month, recognition company Awardco raised $65 million at a valuation of over $900 million.

Earlier this fall, Reward Gateway, a UK-based recognition firm was purchased by Boston-based technology investment firm Great Hill Partners announced that it has agreed to purchase London-based Reward Gateway at a valuation of $217.6 million.
