About the project

We have created a product that is designed for the consolidation of various software platforms into a single system that would provide objective and operational information necessary for efficient fuel supply management, minimizing costs, and increasing labor productivity.

Among other solutions, the project provides the following:

The system automatically predicts deliveries based on data received from tank sensors.
The system optimizes delivery routes by increasing the number of deliveries for different customers in one way.
The system automatically creates a request for delivery (including registration of itinerary and waybills).
The history of tank usage is tracked, the clients can thereby monitor the tanks.
The system allows controlling drivers, trucks, tanks taking into account the working/weekend days in each region/country.

Challenges to overcome

A logistics manager spends 2 to 6 hours building a delivery route for 20 to 30 vehicles - this is not cost-effective for a large organization.
Managers spend 3 to 5 hours a day on routine communications and problem-solving.
Constraints with transport demurrage due to inaccurate transport route planning.

Our work

While working on a UX design for this project, we created several fictional users for each user role in the app. This testing made it possible to ensure the Anova app would be equally useful for all users.

As a result, we developed a unique solution for both suppliers and consumers. Thanks to this, we achieved the following results:

The system automatically predicts deliveries based on the data received from the tank sensors.
The system optimizes the delivery route by increasing the number of deliveries by different customers in one way.
The system automatically creates a request for delivery (including registration of itinerary and waybills).
The history of tanks usage is tracked, the clients can monitor the tanks.
The system provides a two-way exchange of electronic documents between the supplier and the consumer.
Anova solution provides human and production resources management.

Business results

ANOVA allows you to combine disparate processes for loading and delivering fuel into a single system using a unique program.

Suppliers always have information in advance about the number of products shipped and contractors’ points that need to be visited. The system itself rationally plans the chain from loading fuel into trucks to shipment to the recipient.

In turn, customers received the full automation of fuel and gas delivery processes, creating savings each day, both working time and company funds.

As a result, both parties (supplier and consumer) save costs, increase efficiency, increase worker safety, and finally remain competitive.
